Self Portrait at 31

When I was a child, I would place my pen to paper, look away, and scribble something random and chaotic. Then I would look at the scribble and attempt to find the hidden image… the shape hiding within the chaos, just waiting for me to add a few simple strokes to bring meaning to the abstract. This seems to be the nature of the universe.
